Not that it likely matters in this application, but you guys realize titanium is more flexible than steel, right?  Lighter weight, more flexible, it's going to KILL the tone!      (I'm kid, I kid!)

Demso, yes your are right on both counts. It is flexible but does not matter for this app. I have had Doug subject it to special tone inducing magnetic fields so it won't kill the tone. :icon_tongue:

Maybe compared to some high carbon tool steels. But do you really think that the steel neck plates that are available are made from quality steel ....Mmmmmmm, not.. :icon_biggrin:
