Thinking my next build might be a Def Leppard  / union Jack design on a bass guitar.
Let us not get ahead of ourselves? Will the current project at hand ever be, as the French say, terminé?

So... He's not allowed to be thinking of his next project until this one is done?  :dontknow:

I got a serious case of ADD for adults. I'm thinking of the next two thing I'm doing at any time...squirrel squirrel!! The longer I have between steps the more I think about what is next on my  to do wish list. Started the current build while waiting on the neck for my Scandinavian tele.

There's nothing wrong with planning the next one while working on a project. A lot of the work is tedium and there is lots of time to think. Then, when the time comes to start the next project there's already a plan to follow.

Exactly, when I started planning my first Tele, by the time I got half way thru, I had already started another Tele... :laughing7:

Hi guys and gals!!!
The latest word is Doug has the resin purchased for the body.  I am guessing he has cut the body already.  I am not sure.
I am trusting him to seal it and apply the finish because it is way too humid at my shop.
      That is it for now.
    Keeping ya posted!!
    Thanks Jeff Clock.

Yes, I have already got my lumber picked out for Def Leppard  bass.
Red- Brazilian cherry or blood wood
      White- Eastern Hard Maple (rock)
      Blue- purple heart dyed blue.
Hopefully it will work!!
Keeping ya posted!!
Jeff.

Hi guys,
Just left Doug's shop here in Sharonville Ohio.  He is in the process of filling those small cracks with resin before he cuts the body into the stratocaster shape.
Once that is done then he will do the finish of Minwax natural on the body and Minwax Teak oil finish will be applied.
Other than that,  no new updates.  I am being patient just like you guys. I did request any pictures all when he can so we can see the progress.
    Thanks Jeff .

No pics yet . Told Doug I am really anxious to see what she looks like. Doug is a perfectionist.  So that gives you an idea why we are waiting so long.
Thanks Jeff Clock.

You do realize that some of us are clinging to life because we want to see how this turns out? Like a lot of Stephen King fans for the ending of the Dark Tower? But I have to say that I hope this one will turn out better...

:yourock:
Yes, I realize it is a little frustrating.  However Doug is one of the best in Cincinnati so I wait. That means everyone one waits. My apologies.
I assure you it will be nice when he is done with it.
Thanks so much!!
Jeff Clock
