If I'm not wrong a all rosewood strat/tele body is US$580...

I have the price for a RW/purpleheart body, but I wish to have a SINGLEPIECE back if not, I'll settle with regular, and if thats the case, I will also take binding and inlay. yeah, I'm a p.i.m.p. haha, gold hardware, gold pickups, flashy whorehouse inlay... me like!!!

Well if you want to get really pimp, you should have gold inlay that says "I'm Rick James, b*tch!".

well... no the 5 way switchrout is being used right now on my koa It's a 3 way tele switch now, so I can choose any combination of pickups I want. which I will be using on this one too.

I was gonna say, isn't that the symbol of the Klingon Empire?  You could get stuff like this as fretboard inlay:

Next Gen and DS9.  Picard is my favorite captain, I love Patrick Stewart.  But I also loved the Ferengi on DS9.  I always thought the idea of Dax was cool too.  And Odo!  The new movie looks so rad.  I'm glad they finally decided that Shatner wasn't cutting it anymore and went with a movie that is going to make Trek seem cool again.  That guy who plays Sylar on Heroes is so perfect as Spock, it's almost creepy. 

I was raised with Trek, but I have to say I think I prefer Star Wars and Babylon 5.  Except for the 3 newer SW movies, those kind of blew.  If I was making a sci-fi guitar, it would be Minbari themed and would say something about the Anla'Shok.  Or I would just go Jedi on it.  If I did that, I would match my drummer because she has glow in the dark lightsaber drum sticks.

Battlestar Galactica > all.  I mean, really.  That show was like the best movie ever made and it lasted 4 years.  I actually cried twice during the finale (Anders after Starbucks says goodbye and when Baltar says, "you know, I know about farming" to the Caprica 6, and she puts her hand on him and says, "I know..."), and my female friend has made fun of me since.  I used to make so much fun of people who liked this show (I mean, come on, it's on the Sci-fi channel), but then i sat down and watched season 1 over a weekend.

That's true.  Wrath of Khan is the shiznit. Ricardo Montalban was awesome. I remember watching it as a kid and flipping out during the bugs in the ears part. But Shatner now... come on, he's so bloated he looks like his face is going to explode... and not in that cool "aliens ate my brain" sort of way. 

And while we're doing sci-fi shoutouts... Alien and Aliens are two of the greatest movies of all time!  Esp when Ripley kicks the queen's *ss with that forklift suit thingy in Aliens.  I'm trying to convince the art school I work for that we need a specialty prop and puppetmaking class so that I can justify teaching a class project where the kids build a giant queen alien puppet.  I really doubt we'll get the funding we want though.  Bake sale time!
