Birthday Strat for The Norwegian Guy's dad

I received the Strat body that The Norwegian Guy bought for his dad’s 50th birthday surprise.  What a great score on this body.  Finding an alder body in the 3.10 Lbs range is always good and a one-piece alder body in that weight range is a real treat.  I’m going to do this in black nitro lacquer after I re-profile the body to have a sleeker 50’s feel.  Be looking for update pictures as I go.

Congrats!  It's always a challenge to find a 1 piece body that's as light as you've found AND with a great grain pattern  :icon_thumright:

That is awesome!!!  .....how did you do that ???  ....if you dont mind sharing trade secrets that is....  This will be a wicked looking axe Im sure, would love to hear about the complete build details...hardware,pickups,tuners the works.....Im starting to think Tonar should setup shop next to Warmoth and do All the super custom details...Nitro and Custom contours for everyone!!!!..lol  :laughing7:
