Birthday Strat for The Norwegian Guy's dad

Does he know about this yet? If not, you should give him two gifts - have him open a bottle of Bayer first, then the Strat. Just in case.
 
I already know this one is gonna be tops, black always looks good on a strat, I cant wait to see Black Nitro for sure, Im praying it isn't so awesome I wish I woulda went Nitro...lol

I got it level sanded and the first of the final 4 coats on and I know somebody who wants to see some more pictures so here you are.

I can't tell because of the lighting, but that almost looks like a gunmetal rather than black? Dunno. In any event, it looks damn good.

That's just the natural glow that surrounds all of Tonar's work.

This is coming along great, cant wait to see the final build, alot of time and attention to detail for sure......Im sure your dad will cherish this for a lifetime, just to have a son who cares enough to build a guitar for him is special, but this guitar is going to be Sweet!!!!!  :headbang:
 
How long time do you think it'll take untill it's finished, tonar? I have to start setting off some money to pay you for this tremendus job!
Have you figured out how much the shipping will cost, by the way?

Will it be smooth to the touch when it's done? As opposed to sticky because of the gloss, I mean.
