One of the very last VWs

Dropping my price here.  UW pricing is $900 and I'd drop it a little bit more for anyone local.

5 string 32" scale bass necks

You could go to a little heavier string gauge to increase tension.  IIRC, a wound string with a hex core will have a little more tension as well. Get the break angle right at the bridge and nut and I'd bet few people could hear the difference between a 32" and 34" low B.

One of the very last VWs

I've struggled back and forth about ever getting rid of this and in the end, I'm just not a Floyd guy.  It plays great, sounds great and sits great on my body but it isn't the right one for me.  I bought it mainly because it was one the the last 3 or 4 bodies ever made. Body: AAAAA Flame Koa...

    Happy Birthday UW!

De-lurking for a moment to say happy anniversary everyone! I check in once every couple of weeks.  All of my Warmoth basses are gone, but I still have two Warmoth guitars.  Somehow I suspect I will never end up Warmoth free.  There's probably a bass in my future somewhere..... For old time's...

    Gecko 6 in Seattle area?

Wow...  I just popped my head in and saw this note. Sorry, but I've sold off all my Gecko 6s. What is it you want to know about the basses?

Another blast from the past - Last Paul

This is one of the last ones off the line.  I won't even say the name..... I thought I would keep this one forever...  As incredible as it is, I just don't turn to this one very often.  It deserves to be played.  Our local superstar Joe Riggio did the assembly and wiring for me.  It's wired up...

Blast from the Past - Valley Arts and WylieE!

Hey gang! Long, long time, no speak!!!!  Did anyone miss me?!?!?!? I've got a couple pieces I'm going to let go.  Before I list them anywhere else, I'm making them available to my old UW brothers and sisters. First off is a Valley Arts build.  Warmoth used to build the parts for Valley Arts. ...

Valley Arts Strat, Line6 Pod X3 Pro, Gretsch

Hi gang! Sticking my head back in as I'm selling off a few pieces and wanted you all to get a crack.  I'm posting these for sale elsewhere, but I'm knocking the price down a bit for you all here.  Make sure you tell me you saw this on UW for the lower price!  I'm not looking for trades.  I take...

Hi gang, I'm selling off a couple items.  The reasons vary, but it is time for them to find a new home.  I'm offering them up to the UW crew before listing them elsewhere.  Buyer pays shipping and I can take Paypal. PBass build with JBass neck.  Alder body (@4lb 8oz) in vintage white...

    Going my own way

Thanks for all the well wishes.  They are greatly appreciated. Today is my last day and I'm stepping down as one of the admins.  Some of the web guys will keep an eye on the place and step in from time to time. Whenever I get the LP-ish done, I will be sure to post pics.  :occasion14: and ...

Warmoth Failure. Why I will never order from Warmoth again.

Sorry, but I have to push back and say you did fly off the handle based on the title of your message. Office staff will be arriving in about 30 minutes.  I see you have sent an email to sales and that is a good first step.  Please give staff time to comb through the evenings emails and get...

    Going my own way

I'm actually leaving the music industry...I might even be selling off one or two basses... For decades now, fitness has been a hobby of mine.  Earlier this year I earned my TRX certification and I recently completed my NASM CPT certification.  I've accepted a position with VisionQuest in Auburn...
