5 string 32" scale bass necks

Hoping I'm not the only one that would love this option. Take your short scale neck for your short scale J bass body, give me a 1 11/16" nut width, and I would be a very happy player.

I really love the 32" scale, my other 5 string is set up with a high C and would really dig this on the slightly shorter scale.
 
Wouldn't string tension be a potential probably with a short scale 5string? b-strings are already pretty floppy on most of the 5-strings I've played.
 
Great for him, but I imagine most people would try to use it the other way and probably complain.
 
I'm interested as well, would even tune it low instead of high, just not to B. A narrow nut 5-string with a low D though could be a pretty sweet instrument.
 
You could go to a little heavier string gauge to increase tension.  IIRC, a wound string with a hex core will have a little more tension as well.

Get the break angle right at the bridge and nut and I'd bet few people could hear the difference between a 32" and 34" low B.
