I'm selling off a couple items. The reasons vary, but it is time for them to find a new home. I'm offering them up to the UW crew before listing them elsewhere. Buyer pays shipping and I can take Paypal.
PBass build with JBass neck. Alder body (@4lb 8oz) in vintage white, maple/rosewood neck in vintage tint gloss. I am including an extra neck JBass neck (Warhead) with a nice (cough, cough) rosewood board. The currently installed neck has the slim taper, the extra neck has the standard back contour. Pickups are Rio Grande Muy Grande's and the bridge is a discontinued Gotoh 206 thru body. Only one large chip and minor, light scratching. It will not ship with a case. I can always pick one up at the buyer's cost. If you preferred, I can disassemble the bass for shipping. $975.
Gecko 6 Body and Neck. Ultra light swamp ash body (@3lb 6oz.) finished in white pearl. Body is routed for EMG 45 shaped pickups and the bridge pickup was moved back 3/8". The body is loaded with a discontinued Takeuchi 6 string bridge and custom white control cover. The neck is maple/ figured maple and the back contour was reshaped and finished in Tru Oil. I take the shoulders in a bit. It has a black graphitenut and was previously loaded with Hipshot A tuners. Bridge, strap buttons and electrosocket jack plate are included. No case. I can disassemble the body and neck for shipping. $460.
Fretless Gecko 6!!! This is a beast! I just don't play fretless enough to merit keeping it around. Mahogany body with high grade figured koa top. Bart P4 routs that are loaded with passive Villex pickups and their mid-EQ system. Bridge is a Hipshot A with Schaller strap buttons. Not the lightest girl at the dance @ 11-12lb total. The neck is wenge with black ebony board. The neck suffered from blowout during construction and I repaired it. No structural issues, but a small chunk blew out in the upper register. See picture. Tuners are Gotoh and has a black graphite nut. This bass will ship with a Lakland gig bag. $1200.
Fretless Deluxe 5 5-inline neck This is an old, old factory 2nd neck. I bought it to experiment with superglue finishes but could never get it to polish up the way I wanted. There was a hairline crack between the D & G tuner reams that was repaired. Comes with old Gotoh tuners. $175
