    setup specs for compound neck?

Yeah, I was afraid of that. Did not want it to need a fret leveling. As far as the setup goes, is that what folks around here would set up for on one of these compound radius necks? Like setting up a standard Fender hard tail?

    setup specs for compound neck?

I have a Warmoth guitar that I built about 10 years ago that needs a setup. I"m having issues with fret buzz on the 5th and 6th strings. Adding relief to the truss rod doesn't help and cranking up the action seems wrong as it has to be set way to high to get the buzz out. It's an all rosewood...

    foam for pickups

I got a jazz bass build going right now. Im using the foam that came in the pickup box (dimarzio ultra jazz 5) looks like it should work just fine unless anybody here has had problems with doing this. Brian

    Stupid 60 Cycle Hum Question

here is my stupid reply!!! if it is a tele that you are wiring up, you are using a blade switch. buy one of those multi lug/5 pole megga super switches and wire the thing up so you split the humbucker to single coil in the mid position to mix with the other single coil. you'll get it to hum...

jus got f***ed up by a virus

When I said I wouldnt trust a ree program I was refering to anti-virus software. If it's free they probably dont have the rescources to update the virus signitures on a regular basis or maybe even to research them in the first place. As far as symantec etc. creating viruses to keep themselves...

jus got f***ed up by a virus

the only good way to insure you get rid of a virus is to completley erase the drive(s) and re-install a fresh copy of the OS. We do this at the repair shop that I work at. Yank the drive first and back up your data onto a machine that has a good working anti-virus (i wouldnt trust anything that...

    Guitar to midi controller

it's not really about how well the unit tracks, it's about how cleanly you play and knowing the limits of guitar/midi. A guitar synth wont track all the crazy things people do while they are playing. On some of the patches , piano for instance, the GR33 is set to trigger a new note as soon as...
