Here's my Warmoth basses.....I did all of the finishing on both basses (stain and nitro) except the burst body (fretted bass) is W factory poly .....obviously...
I thought polyester was for tacky 1970's suits.....not wood finishing.....

The good old days.....ebony was BLACK no streaks no stain
I used the LIGHT version of this stuff on my mahogany body.........which was then stained and lacquered.

That would be an EVM 12L............the good stuff !
Bass cabs came with a 15L. L series (original) paper cones have ribs ..... helps with higher freq's .

Did you use router to bevel the edges on the pick guard ?. Looks like the premium Warmoth tortois shell stuff.
You obviously know what you are doing but I'm asking because it looks like there is'nt really clean layer seperations in the beveled edges.
I'm planning on doing mine soon...
