Why wasn't I alerted to Warmoth's compound radius neck many years ago?!!

Plays like a dream! Upper register wheedlie wheedlies and bends are just effortless compared to my other guitars. I may have missed my calling not having this neck before. I am too old to be cool anymore, and my level of playing is certainly not masterful enough to be relevant in a mature kinda way.

Would it be possible do you suppose, for me to sue Warmoth?

Classic - sue the entity that made you free, instead of the ones that kept you in chains.  Shame on you.

Heh.

I don't know how it could be missed, as you have to pay more for a straight radius.

Curious though, what are your other neck radii?  The compound radius plays like other flatter radiused fretboards, because it is.  If it's being compared to vintage rounder radii, of course it's different.

Is this a joke?  ???

Yes, it's a joke - and kind of a uniquely American one.  Most legal systems are far less likely to entertain such frivolous litigation - but the US will let just about anyone sue just about anyone else for just about anything, as long as they have enough money for the filing fee.

There's a reason I don't practice law anymore.  Well, lots of reasons.  Clowns like the one Noodler is obliquely making fun of figured into it, however.

Yes, yes I am kidding. My other strats have a 7.25 and 9.5 radius. Also the stainless frets, are nice first guitar I have ever had with them.

I'm actually kind of keen to try the 7.25-9.5" radius the folks across town offer.

I know what you mean. My Warmoth has a straight 16" radius and is so comfortable, especially for bends and vibrato. As for the 7.25" radius you've been stuck on, it's the worst for bending and is very uncomfortable to me. Nice upgrade!
