You could get something printed and apply it to a standard neckplate, but good luck getting a one-off. Most of the places I found in a perfunctory search were talking production runs. Seems there's lasers and special material, etc. involved. Maybe look a little harder than I did and see what there is to see. What you want is somebody who can do "Lenticular printing".

Doug has been very good to me, and I've got a lot of his work adorning my basses.  I'm giving a new guy a try.  Nothing against Doug in any way.  This is a completely custom job, 1/8" thick aluminum, brushed black anodized.  I'm hoping it will have some mojo, too.
