Voodoo finish, Part Deux

...assuming I have the patience to let the lacquer cure that long.
That's why I prefer using automotive urethane throughout. It's more expensive, but using the Preval Sprayer units along with SprayMax makes it affordable...

Looks great by the way!

Goddammit.

Got up this morning to spray a new coat of clear on the beast, and learned to my considerable consternation that the hook I screwed into the ceiling to hang the body from... broke.  Body hit the concrete floor and was vigorously banged up.  The entire day's work sanding, dying, bursting, etc:  Shot to sh!t.  Plus I have dings to steam out, a few scuffs to fill, and so forth.

Time for a break, lest I begin throwing things.

Elsewhere in the news, I accidentally won with the minimum bid on a mahogany Tele body with twin p90 pickup routs, so maybe I can redirect my energies for a while.  Gonna buy some of them Roadhouse pups at last!  Not sure whether I'll go with a solid color or something else - I reckon it'll depend on how the grain looks once I get a good peek at it in person.

Peace

Damn. I mean, DAMN! Very sorry to hear that. I'm glad I'm not within throwing distance of you.

And now you have another body coming? Are you sure you don't want to spring for one of those stands Piranna's making?

Rescued and back on track:

Did you chain it to the ceiling this time? <grin>

No, but  the hook I mounted on the ceiling is unlikely to budge for anything less than a man who weighs considerably more than my own ~200lb.
