Unfinished Canary Warranty?

Ok, so I've heard whispers and rumors that Warmoth will warranty a Canary neck even if it is unfinished. Is this true? From what I can see on their site, unfinished necks automatically void warranty.  :dontknow:

There are many necks that do not require a finish. A lot of the folks here love using them a lot more than standard maple or other finished woods.
These woods include
Bocote
Brazilian Rosewood
Bubinga
Canary
Cocobolo
Ebony
Goncalo Alves
Indian Rosewood
Kingwood
Macassar Ebony
Padouk
Palisander Rosewood
Pau Ferro
Purpleheart
Satine/Bloodwood
Wenge
Ziricote

Canary is one of the few exotics that Warmoth WILL apply a finish to, if you want it.
Most exotics not only are played raw, but are also very difficult to apply a finish to if you wanted one.

Of course, finishing exotics is shunned upon, and will result in instant dissaproval by me.  :tard:

which do you hate more: finished exotics or hardtails?

:icon_thumright: haha . . . I definitely understand the stupidity of finishing canary . . . and for anyone wondering what the answer to my stupid question . . . yes, Warmoth's 2 year warranty includes unfinished exotic necks, as shown here: http://www.warmoth.com/Ordering/Warranty.aspx

Don't forget frets btw!  :tard:
