That's like a dangly nutsack thing with a neck slapped on it... dude, I am so laughing.   :laughing11:

Never thought of it as that, thankfully no one said THAT about the guitar when I owned it!!  :laughing7:

They didn't say because they have more manners than I.   :icon_jokercolor:

No really, that's a good one.  In fact, it gets my vote (a tie, to be precise) with the Ovation Breadwinner
as fugliest guitar ever.

Maybe the folks I hung around with had less experience with looking at bloke's nutsacks!  :icon_jokercolor:

I had to look up a website that was Japanese to get that photo and while all the language was in Japanese, beside the link for the "SG3C" photo, was the figure of 21000. I get the impression there were 21000 of these made!!!

Maybe Mully or someone who reads Japanese fluently can interpret this webpage?  :icon_scratch:

Nah, alls good SL......I was only joking back at ya.

For some reason my next guitar after that was a Rickenbacker, then a Strat.....and I have steered clear of radical shaped guitars since  :laughing7:. One other problem with it was that it was one of those guitar shapes that you couldn't play sitting down, annoyed the hell out of me for that alone. All up it was a 'Disastercaster'.

well, they've improved the look of it :P

I think those actually preceded the model I had, Fernando....here's a You Tube clip showing the development history behind the SG2000...

I kinda like those. Might be cool flipped upside down too. I guess ugly really is in the eye of the beholder.

Here's a guitar I have always thought was fugly.

Now a production model, it was originally a one-off custom built by John Birch for Dave Hill of Slade.

The upside down version would be very much like SG3C I had, and everybody has been dissing on! Only it may sit better on your lap (because of the arch in the body shape) than the SG3C did.

Fernando, the original pickups were horrors. Very thin sounding, tinny......same pickups as were on the SG3C I had I think. If someone was to squeeze a decent tone out of them it HAD to be the rack processors they had, lol. :laughing7:

FAIL
If they didn't make this camo finsh on the Spalted, the double single-coils, the knob on the cutaway and the inlay, it would be a WIN, but as they did it earns a FAIL

That deserves a FAIL just for the 6 inline tuners on one side of the canted PRS headstock.  It looks like a birth defect.

c'mon keep 'em pouring in... let's see what other travesties are out there.

(shure glad I ain't gots the delta blooze!  I think it comes with alzheimer's or sumptin')
