A Warwick. Good grief it's hideous!

Where's that guitar made out of ikea cutting boards.. not quite production.. but I bet Zac would make more than one  :laughing7:

This is my ugly production guitar 1990 robin tedley, it plays better than almost every guitar I have ever played (and I have some nice guitars)
Just saying...I'm also quite sure warmoth ghost built the neck...But I have no proof.

Kboman whats wrong with the warwick you showed? sure its a bit extravagant shape wise, but ive played one of them and its amazinggg,
if its the headstock for some reason the one i played had a much more beautiful headstock than that one does.
Not throwing a stressy just curious why you dont like it  :)

Well... I'm sure it's well built and plays well. Warwick has a solid reputation after all. But the shape just doesn't work reversed like that, the top is tasteless, the headstock looks like it's had an accident... And while this should not be high on your list of considerations when buying an instrument, you look like an idiot playing it!
Eh, different strokes for different folks. Time to sleep, g'night all.

I don't think you understand. when talking of beauty, something can be "ugly" and still considered well beautiful, also one can find something ugly and still appreciate it's function even consider it technically advanced.

for example this painting by Francisco de Goya "Chronos devouring one of his children"
saturn_1000.jpg

or this anonymous painting "grotesque old woman"

There's definitely a case to be made for "so ugly it's beautiful", but I don't think anything in this thread qualifies for that distinction.  :icon_jokercolor:

Here's my candidate (I think something mentioned it earlier). Every time I see one of these, it reminds me how much I hate Zakk Wylde.

Fair enough kboman, i see your points  :icon_thumright:
Yeah i dont understand ugly enough
But hey, heres from  a guy that likes redheads/ gingers haha Most guys would shudder

Let me rephrase, something can be made so well that the craftsmanship is considered impeccable, beautiful.. that does not mean it's form is attractive. Oh to hell with it He said Ugly not Bad.. or poorly made...

The original, made by Dean is nice;

Did anyone else think of the Necronomicon from, "Army of Darkness," when they saw this?  "Clatto Verata N... Necktie... Neckturn... Nickel... It's an "N" word, it's definitely an "N" word!"

Also those Aluminum necked Kramers are what the Austerity Program, creators of the Valnøtt, use, so I give them a pass.
Patrick

haha i know what he said and i wasnt disputing any of what he said, every man to himself you know, and i know this is the ugly guitar page not the ugly and craply made one haha ,
Dont have any grief with what he said i just wondered what made it ugly to him , cause personally its good looking guitar, but no grief with anyone that thinks otherwise
...unless they would take a  bc rich instead......
