Time for a new "Unofficial Warmoth Raffle"?

so hows this unofficial non raffle work?
I think tickets are 10 bucks each and there is a set amount of them, I think last time there was 150. I think you can only buy 2 or 3 each. All the money is pooled (using paypal?), and then the winner is picked at random on a random number generator site thing where everyone can watch it being picked.

I think that's how it went.

Well I dunno anything about a raffle, but I would be willing to donate $10 for a chance to win in the drawing.

That's is, AFAIR

I'm in.  Who's driving this thing anyway?

We haven't chosen anyone yet, more on counting people interested on the party :laughing7:
Does anybody wants the responsability of it?? I'd take, but not really confortable about, because I *WILL* win this year and everybody is going to call me "cheater" :p  :toothy12:

I say we have a bonus charity event where the winner gets a tour through the W factory, all proceeds to go to whoever at W will let us in the door  :laughing7:

it should be for active board members only... although I know, the more participants, the higher the budget.
but on the other hand, I participated on a raffle on another forum once, and the winner turned out to be someones brother's friend... :tard:
+ wouldn't it suck if the winner never posted again, and would not get us involved in the designing/planning/building process?

How active is "active". If I qualify I would love to partake in this... benefit.

Could just make a rule that says users must have XX number of post to qualify and participate. I think 100 or 200 would be a good point, if you have that many post, you're probably not a troll or lurker, but an active member. Or we could use the "post per day average" that is on everybody's profile page. Maybe an average of .5 post per day (1 post every 2 days) average would work as an option. Could even make it even a little higher at 1 post per day average, active members would be well above 1 post per day, mine is currently 4.121 post per day.

Better get to posting!! And not about Cialis, Rogaine, Exotic Vacations, etc.!!  :laughing7:

It could even be set as low as 50 post total or 1 post a week average (.143 post per day), just something that distinguishes active members from somebody who signed up last year, but never is really active in the board.

I wholeheartedly agree; the donations should be only from members that are active on the board...

Dude, that's all I have to talk about. Regrowing hair for an intimate trip to Fiji is what it's all about.
