Cool, mine is very close to a honey colour. Kind of like an aged lacquer. Poor indoor lighting really doesn't do it any justice.
Very close to finished. Some small speed humps:
1. Seymour Duncan have given me the wrong screws for my neck pickup. They are too long, and are missing the thread at the top. :dontknow:
2. They have supplied me with short bits of surgical tubing instead of springs. I find that stuff dries out and cracks over time, and is also pretty useless. maybe I ma being overly meticulous here, but I like to do something properly the first time. :icon_scratch:
3. Also, the flat top tele style knobs I ordered are for split shaft, not solid. :doh:
Off to my guitar store on Monday to correct these problem.
Rear ferrules went in really easily. Scraped away some of the finish, and the tapped them in with a dead blow hammer.
Anyway, here are some progress pics...
