Here's one of me with the band last night.  It was a good show, despite that for the second time, there has been fights with police being called and arrests made.  Sadly it's never women fighting over the bass player.  Maybe it's because they didn't have Drambuie.

That's funny.  We played a little bar a couple of weeks ago and there was nearly a bar fight right in the middle of the second set - but it was diffused by the time the cops got there.  A couple of buddies of mine who are ex-cops saw the whole thing and were poking each other saying "you ready to go help clean that up?" "Yep" "ok, on my signal"... but they didn't have to.  Oh - and my ex-cop buddies are women  :headbang:

A little while ago my band played this HOLE. While there wasn't a full fledged bar fight, there was a woman who got into it with her boyfriend...hit him with a beer bottle in the head, not once, not twice, but three times, until it broke (the bottle, not his head...the guy barely had a red mark on his forehead where he was hit). You' ve got to admire either the woman's persistence or the guy's ability to withstand punishment-or both. Of course, they went home together.

Those are the fights you don't try to break up because they both come at you.

This is the truth.
Not all was lost though, said bottle-swinging chick did ask the band if we thought her nipples were a nice shade of pink.

They were.

Once I saw a cop girl in Amsterdam... 6ft tall, seemed like at most 22 yeard old, completely on shape and gorgeous as a dutch girl, if you understand me... I failed in asking for her phone number by 3 reasons:

1) I was afraid to be arrested
2) I was afraid to be beaten (she seemed to work out a lot and she was my size, I'm don't work out a lot)
3) I'm the shyest guy on the earth...

Totally off-topic, but I had to share with you mates

No it's not a Warmoth. But Music Mans aren't so bad either and the Sterling is IMHO pretty much the best looking bass ever.

Nederpop all the way (but I don't think many of you know what that actually means. :) )

The Sterling is currently my backup bass but I really 'need' another 5-string for that role. I have my mind set on a Gecko because I 'need' 35''. :)
My current main axe will most likely become the backup then.

I concur. The Stingray and Sterling lines are my favorite basses on the market. I'm actually contemplating buying a Sterling as I type this. They have a used one at the guitar shop for 600 bucks that I feel that I can't pass up.
MULLY
it's black, just like yours

Wow, that is a bargain. I bought mine used as well and I paid 1000,- euros (in 2004). Which still was good value since new ones cost 1800-2000 euros back then (not sure what they're going for these days).

They had a great one, well used, in flat black for $500 at the guitar center here recently - it played and sounded awesome, I was really tempted but couldn't.

LMAO. Well we don't play songs from either of them. We prefer Doe Maar and De Dijk.

Just so long as you don't do Rieux, that fiddle-wielding reincarnation of Liberace...
