Hey Mully - Great picture of the roadking!!

The RoadKing has since been replaced by an older Dual Rectifier Trem-o-verb head. That RK was one of the first series and there were more bugs in it than in the Amazon valley. After 3 repairs and finally Mesa Boogie gutting it and putting in a whole new amp I was done with it. I'm happy with my Trem-o-verb.

I thought I had a shot of my Wolfgang with this set up with the Trem-o-verb up top, but I can't find it. Anyway, here is another shot of the RK.

See that Mesa Combo? I traded a 5150II head with a 5150 4x12 cabinet, a 1990 American Standard Strat and 4 effect pedals for it. I know monetarily that I got hosed, but I really wanted a Mesa. After getting that combo I went to the guitar shop here in Japan to order some Mesa stuff and they told me that they couldn't get what I wanted. I turned around and contacted Mesa directly and they told me that since they have a distributor here in Japan that they couldn't ship to me. What was I to do? Turns out that little exchange with a sales rep ended up netting me a translating job for their international sales manager and the VP of Mesa when they came to Japan. I helped change distributors and instruct the new salesmen on Mesa amps. I wish I had a picture of the room where we were doing the training. Every single amp that Mesa Boogie makes was in that room. It was a little slice of heaven.

I found that pic of the Trem-o-verb and my old Wolfgang. The 5150II head is gone already too. Man........

That looks like they almost copied my idea, which was, to go white on the sleeve ends, white brim on the helmet, white from knees down, and regular or some variation of "snow camo" (light greys) on the rest, in an attempt to make yourself look smaller, and this further away, in the snow.

Ok, back to the Drambuie...

Lookin' back a bit... jeeze! Do they still USE those?  Gotta love 'em, accurate as an M1, deadly as a 4 inch gun.

Yes we're still using them!
It's so freakin' awesome shooting with these! Its like your entire body gets crushed, and when you see it blow up stuff far away you can't wait to fire another rocket!

At a Football match in Townsville, Queensland (Australia) about a month ago. The bucket hat improves the overall look of the photo, lol!

Not quite correct. Our rugby is a easier to understand version of America's.
Soccer here is called soccer, not football and you will be banished for calling soccer football.
The the football where we're allowed to run around with an oval ball in our hands is called AFL..

Oh, yes, soccer. Here in Europe it is football.

Wait..., in AFL You can pass ball forward but in the rugby only backward?

In AFL, the ball can be passed in any direction a team member is in as long as it goes towards getting a goal. In rugby, you can only throw it backwards.

Now I'm jealous    :icon_biggrin:

No need to be jealous. I sold the 5150II, the Mesa cabinet and the Wolfgang. Only remaining pieces are the Mesa head and the combo.
