Screamin Deals?

Anyone know what is going on with those bodies in the screamin deals section? They are all the same specs and they have the different stamp in the neck pocket. They all look really awesome and i'm having a real hard time not picking one up. It got a little easier when the cherry burst one got picked up but I really want that fire mist gold one!

So anyway thoughts on why they are soooo cheap? Some sort of prototype run or something?

We actually bought these back in their original boxes, in new condition from a sale several years ago. All first run bodies offered at swinging price. Once they're gone they're gone though so don't wait too long.

i think you buy the battery box separate, which comes with a door on it. i believe :icon_biggrin: don't quote me. i've never used any active electronics but i thought about getting a route done and i thought that was the deal

^ This. The box is seperate and there to make it easy access to the batteries, so you dont have to take off the pickguard or something everytime.

if you don't want active pickups, you can also use it to hide your stash....  :tard:

I bought one of those! I had kinda stopped liking cherry-burst finishes until I saw it with the black burst-over edge. Looks as good up close as in the pics too!

I think there've been maybe half a dozen of the cherry-bursts since I bought mine.

I'd LOVE to know which company had ordered/bought them in the first place...

Apparently, people are taking your advice. It's down to 3 Strats and 1 Jazz bass body just in the last few days. I just bought the Alpine White Strat, even though I need another Strat like I need an additional orifice in my cranium. Too good to pass up, though.

OH man I reallllyyy wanted that one. I was the exact same way. I actually HATE cherry burst  :laughing7:. but the black lip was awesome. can you post some pics up? im glad you found the forum.

I received the cherry burst one two days ago.
It is very light and perfectly finished.
I didn't plan to buy another red-something-burst body as I finished a honey burst one six month ago, but I was unable to resist.....
I have a chance to try an EMG active setup now!
