I have always used a 1/16" bit to drill tuner screws, but I have to install TWENTY of them on this new bass head (five tuners X four screws each). When I look at the screws Warmoth sent, they sure look like a 5/64" bit would fit the shaft best, even with wax, a sharp screwdriver and all. These screws are structural on the metal BML's, as the bushing doesn't screw through. I could always pick up a numerical bit, somewhere in between a #52 (1/16") and a #47 (5/64").
