That's F-king awesome...... :headbang:

It needs a F-king custom neck plate.... :icon_biggrin:

Looking good. Any completed pics? We want a pic of you playing it. I wanna know if z's actually look good being played.  :guitaristgif:

Yeah, its unfortunate. I'm building a Z, should have the body in 2-3 more weeks hopefully and I'll be all over these forums. I'm determined to have a guitar of the month.

I'm looking forward to your build. My dream Warmoth guitar is a wild maple top aqua burst mahogany Z-body.

I actually found a topic on another site that shows the color I'm going for. Everyone keeps saying dying mahogany will not work, even though I already have a dyed mahog, but here are the pics of roughly the color i'm aiming for... if not a little darker.

The mahogany does seem to have a greenish tint to it on the bottom horn/neck. Not sure if that is a camera thing or not.

I'm not gonna guess as to whether washburn did it or not, but I would think it would be alot easier to get mahogany to take that color if it was bleached first. And also, that still might just be tinted lacquer.
