Question re: 3x3 Straight Paddle neck

Hello,
Please forgive any noob mistakes.

I'm planning to pick up a 3x3 straight paddle neck for my build and was wondering what people do for keeping the strings in place?
If you use string trees, which strings get them and where do you position them?
I'm also leaning towards Sperzel locking tuners so I can avoid using string trees. If you have them, did you get different post heights (like their six in line sets are staggered high to low)?

You should not need string trees with a 3 * 3 headstock.

Staggered tuners also would not be needed. But if you really wanted to use different heights you could go for a lower height for the D & G strings only.
