Calling all UK members.
I received my guitar a couple of months ago complete with all the hardware etc.
I've since decided that I am going to go with different pickup rings, knobs and pots so I will be placing and order with Warmoth accordingly.
The bits I ordered incorrectly originally I will sell on.
The who lot comes to about $50.
What is the best method of shipment to the UK?
I don't mind waiting but when I have received stuff from the states in the past (from Stewmac) I have incurred £8 brokerage charge from Royal Mail. This is regardless of the value. When I get stuff posted Express this doesn't happen, but I I wait a couple of weeks it seems to be handled by Royal Mail and charges incurred.
Any ideas?
I could get the pots and knobs from a UK supplier, but I'm not sure if I would be ordering the correct curved pickup rings to fit the Warmoth LPS.
Hence getting them from Warmouth.
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers
Dave
