I love that when Godard made "Contempt," the money guys were all over him for not having a Bardot nude scene. So by way of capitulation, he added the opening sequence where she is asking her husband, "Do you like my (name of body part)?" repeatedly about various features of her topography. Basically a raised middle finger to the producers. Great stuff.
