Oh my, this is a catch.
I opened a thread about a strat a couple of days ago and now I got to dissect it. It's a super unique guitar, that's for sure. The bridge rout was originally for a strat single coil but clearly rerouted for a humbucker, BEFORE lacquer! The pickup itself is a VERY OLD TB12 George Lynch Screaming Demon!!!!
The neck has a FLAT fretboard end, with the trussrod adjustment screw at the heel, with a round 'strat' heel, though and here comes the kicker: a glued on fretboard, but all maple. It was finished in nitro cause no way in HELL that poly-U rubs off in that manor.
The body is a super lightweight ash body, with a great bookmatch.
I'll post pics later.
