New W headstock?

Saw these in the RSS pop up and they're sitting in the Misc->Other section (and screamin' deals)

Does this thing have a name?

I'm not sure if it's great or terrible.

Those are old stock Valley Arts Guitar OEM necks that Warmoth used to build for them.

TFS is correct.  Old Valley Arts necks.  No credit for the headstock.....

My first electric guitar was a Valley Arts Guitar, so I recognized that headstock. I didn't know that Warmoth made the necks for those, now I know why I liked the neck so much!

Here's some Valley Arts we snapped at the guitar show 2 years ago.  Didn't get the headstock but you can see the contoured heel and Gotoh side adjust that Warmoth uses.

Right, im going to be genuinely different, and say i wouldnt mind one of that headstock on my jazz bass, having seen the bass version, specially as i could put something like this...

Question for someone in the know, Did warmoth do the bass necks for a while?

Just looked, and there is a very nice one on fleabay atm, whole bass.... £750  :sad1:,
but then i found out they only do one bass, and its a nice looking thing i wouldnt want to dismantle anyways, Damnnnnn
Back to the drawing board.

Wow.  Not much love going on here.....  I must be in the minority as I have two of their necks.  One on my super Strat (http://www.unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=5067.0) and one going on a project yet to be determined.
