Luke said:
Just ordered my canary back ziricote top neck with some planet waves and an LSR roller.. and I think I'm gonna go with no stain, just oil finish, because lets face it, that wood is beautiful on that body.

Wise choice! :D

:D Hell yeah! A brazilian one? Ate picanha? :laughing7:
One thing that I really wanted to know is the name of the cuts in english, to compare with the cuts in portuguese :)

This neck is padouk or bloodwood?
You shall get the bloodwood one ;)

Awesome!

On Wikipedia it says Picanha is Rump Cover or Top Sirloin, it usually looks like this on Churrascarias:
.resized_picanha.jpg

And it's very common be 'tempered' with garlic :icon_biggrin:

If I'm not wrong, Picanha is the first part of the SIrloin, Alcatra is the second and Fraldinha is the third, Bottom SIrloin:

Was that a brazilian churrascaria?

I got the portugese names off their website:
http://www.mastergrill.com/

We also have these 2, which are very nice too, but way more expensive:

There's supposed to be a Brazillian steak house in McKinney, may be in Frisco but I don't remember the name. A buddy of mine said he ate there and it was off the hook. He said they keep bringing you food until you can't stand it anymore....

Alright, so we went for no stain, no filler!  So we need a couple of extra coats to get the korina filled, but we are definetly going for the natural look AND feel!

only one half of the front done..
see how the flame comes out!!
