Outstanding body!  What are the specs??

Is that a honey burst finish?  Also what kind of flame is that - AAA / unique choice or just "luck of the showcase"?

What's your plan for the controls, you going for volume + tone + 3 way toggle?  Are those just mapped to the strat template and put on a tele body?

Congratulations on a great find in any case.

That body is a "luck of the showcase".

The finish is Cherry Burst which forum members convinced me to choose (without regrets at all !!!).

The control holes are positioned and spaced carefully by compliments of Warmoth's shop since it is carved top body and control holes have to be on a flat plain.  This feature is not offered so thanks to the shop guys and Spike.  The layout will be Volume-Tone-Tone.  As for knobs, I am still debating if I should use Amber Gibsons or Strat Cream.  Will see when the guitar is cdompleted.

I will be using a 3-way toggle switch and contemplating to have it positioned at the upper bout like a Les Paul.  The prewired switch can be installed through the f-hole.

Thanks all for your kind words.  Really, its all Warmoth's excellent body and paint work.  I just choose the hardware and put them altogether.  Will probably see the finished product next week so stay in tune.

UG.

I truly love that cherry burst.  It looks way better than the pics on the warmoth site...  but then again, they always do in the flesh.

I think a carved top tele has been added as a possibility for my next build. Every time I look at this I get dizzy. Fantastic looking guitar, man. can't wait to see the finished product.

Guess she turned out not bad.  I have yet to give the Kinman P90Hx soapbars a blast through bigger amps and in a band situation.  Through that Blues Jr. the pickups are completely quiet while the tone oozes out molten syrup and a clear transparent twang.

OK... Seriously...  You got everything right when you put that bad boy together.  That look fantastic.  Loving the neck too!

:glasses9:

I'm definitely not a Tele guy but that thing looks great esp with those Kinmans..Nice color scheme and design..very classy.

looks killer...did you have to take any material out for the front PU?

Yup, deepened the cavity to the level of the wire channel with a router.  Coincidentally, the volume balance between the two pups is spot on.

Thanks for all the kind words.
