Hey Aaron, if you want some feedback on how the Satin finishes do while performing, I'd be happy to help. You can just send that brown burst Strat body my way and I'll do the rest!!!

All R&D must be done at the Warmoth testing facility. We have a special room for testing live playing conditions. We will lock you in with the temperature set at 100 degrees, with today's MMA fight playing on three big-screens, and force you to play Mustang Sally over and over while we: throw bottles and cans at you, spill beer all over your pedal board, repeatedly request songs you already played in your first set, ask if it's OK to sit in with our harmonica (it's an F, so you'll have to transpose all your songs to that key. You can do that, right?), repeatedly tell you you are too loud, steal your capo and two patch cords, make you put away the PA on your own, stiff you for payment at the end of the testing session, and send you home smelling like a pack of Pall Malls.

What time should I tell them you'll be here?

I'm not comin' over unless you can also supply a 22-year-old kid who can regurgitate every Stevie Ray Vaughan solo verbatim but has no idea who Albert King is.

If the coffee is burned, the chips in the vending machine have an expiration date at least a year old and the paycheck starts with a '$ 0.', then that's just another day in the office, right?

I'll be there at 7AM sharp!

Any chance that there will be a Satin Gold finish?  My next build will be a Gold Tele with black binding.  I think a satin gold finish would be killer.

Hmmm, its really nice, but I was thinking more like the Gold Top Gold.  That looks more like the Fire Mist Gold.

We offer a Gold Top Gold too. And a Metallic Gold. The one above is Shoreline Gold.

All available in satin.

I do believe the satin finish is available on any & all colors, yes? Order away, Matey! Oops, Aaron confirmed that in previous post...as you were...

Sweet deal.....now to save up

I can see it now.....Gold Top Gold Satin, black binding, ebony (or wenge) neck/ ebony fretboard, blacked out hadware and pups.......

Tried to sign up for the new Warmoth giveaway. Unfortunately, it requires you to follow Warmoth on Twitter. Not only do I have a life and a job, even if I was an unemployed shut in, I couldn't bring myself to use Twitter! I love this forum, and I can deal with Facebook, but I absolutely draw the line at Twitter.

Too bad, nice Strat body.........  :-\

I don't know that it is required to twitter. You will just get 3 chances rather than 4. Though I may be wrong.

I'm personally attracted to the possibilities with the solid colors. Matte black pickguard, Daphne Blue in Satin, gold hardware, maple board.

You definitely don't need to do all the options there, only as many as you are comfortable with. But you get more entries by doing more of the options. By the way Warmoth, I would so love to win this, I saw a super nice wenge/ebony strat neck the other day that would go awesome with the body...

I'm in for 4. I don't do twitter so that one is a bust but got the rest. I didn't really like the satin finish until I watched the video. It may be a really comfortable finish as AA said. Those videos are outstanding and this one is right up there. The satin black would be a fun one to trick out.

Damn, did I misunderstand that whole Twitter thing?

I finished all the other steps, but assumed I needed to complete all five. In that case, I'm in for four entries!  :icon_thumright:

PS: No offense meant to anyone who uses Twitter. It's just that I barely have time to keep track of all the people I'm required to keep track of, without Tweets from friends about enjoying a Big Mac in West Bumphuc. Peace, be safe.  :glasses9:
