How about some from the rest of you guys?

Well it is in my handle at the bottom but I'll post it here  :). I love em so much, although the surfgreen is getting changed up a bit. I'll repost when it happens!

Those are some fine instruments.

Heck, I have it easiest. Here's my only Warmoth child. He's a half-breed, too.  :icon_biggrin:

Hey!

I'm new here, although I've been using Warmoth's parts since the 80's (had to order via a catalog through my local repair shop back then). All of my electrics are Warmoth builds, and I love them all!!! They are my "kids"...they are all named on the headstock with matching names on the cases for easy identification (finally got sick of having to open 4-6 cases to find a particular guitar). Anyway, just took this photo yesterday with my bike "Gypsy" (Kawasaki Vulcan), so this photo is titled "Gypsy and the Electric Girls".

Left to right:
Jackie-Black, Alder, chambered Strat, Maple Wizard neck.

Jessie-Black, Samp Ash, chambered Tele w/Strat contours, Maple Wizard neck.

Roxanne-(my most recent build) Tobacco Burst, Alder/quilt Maple Soloist, Maple Wizard neck, Schaller Floyd.

Ariella-Blue "Peace Sign" Alder Soloist (paint job and relic'd by me, designed with a 'head nod' to some famous red guitar), Wizard Maple neck, Wilkinson Trem.

Jenna-Tobacco Burst, Mahogany Tele, chambered w/Strat contours, Standard Thin neck.

Delilah-the ever-morhping "Fugly" finish (by me. The "pick guard" is not actually one, just the body's stained wood with studs mounted into the body), Swamp Ash Tele, chambered w/Strat contours, Wizard Strat neck, with "Ghost" piezo saddles, stereo out, second tone knob is volume for piezo. This guitar visually is a beater, but is my favorite and actually is very well taken care of though its body looks quite abused (on purpose).

All the guitars have Seymour Duncans, but different pickups in each for a variety of sounds.

Thanks for looking! I'm psyched to be here!
John

Outstanding finishes Great Ape. Is that your work?

The Sunset Orange is a Warmoth finish, with a maple neck that I burned in the 'fret markers' and then dyed and finished.

All outstanding work, Great Ape. Each one is a masterpiece.

Thanks for posting the links, Cagey. There were a couple I hadn't seen yet.

no family yet, just single guy ... will post family picture as soon as pickups make their way to the USA.

Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for the links, Kevin-I wouldn't know how to ''post a link'' if my
Warmoth depended on it... :icon_scratch:

No problem. I'm quite sure I don't speak only for myself when I say I'm proud to show you off. You're a real asset to the forum.

As for posting links, it's pretty much the same thing as posting pics. The easiest way to do it is to copy the address of where you want the link to lead to - typically from the address/location bar of your browser - and equate it after the "L" of the first of two "URL" tags. The tags can be automatically inserted using the "Insert Hyperlink" button (which is right next to the "Insert Image" button) and looks like a little planet with a document next to it. The tags will show up as

Code:
[url][/url]
and you add an "=" sign after the "L" in the first tag and paste your address in.

So, a link like I used above to show off your work would look like

Code:
[url=http://unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=25456.0][/url]

If you want to get fancier, you can add some text between the brackets of the two tags, and the text will show up instead of the link. Reader then just clicks on the text to follow it. For instance...

Code:
[url=http://unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=25456.0]Badass Woodburning[/url]

... would just show up in the message as Badass Woodburning. Reader wouldn't see the address.

It's even easier if you're already written a bit of text, and you want to change a word or group of words into a link. Simply highlight the word(s) you want to turn into a link, click on the "Insert Hyperlink" button, then paste the address in after the "L"  and an added "=" in the first tag.
