My Warmoth doublecut got like 7th place out of 8 entries for GOM so that'll tell you just how popular the body style would be if it were reintroduced. I'd settle for a flat top Regal though. Precision Guitar Kits are fantastic, btw

People have a bias against bolt-on LPs.

BTW, there is a whole gallery subforum of LP/LPS (and now Regal) builds.

The problem is the LP/LPS end around 2015 and there are a lot of broken links on threads that old. Some gorgeous builds though.

Looking through some of these old posts and GOTM, I forgot another body they removed was the VW (Peavey/EVH Wolfgang), which was replaced with the Velocity.

"LPS" - it was available as carved, lam, or flat top.

People have a bias against bolt-on LPs.

Bolt-on seems like the only way to get neck specs I want. Even that Precision kit doesn't seem to have many neck options at all.

This body style is what introduced me to Warmoth in ~1997/1998. There was a Guitar mag article about building your own guitar and they ordered the neck and body from Warmoth and did an LPS. I too am bummed I didn’t get one many years ago!
