Apparently these are on sale everywhere else now too. If you don't need the stands they're $90/ea. I wanted the stands as I'm planning on building  a studio desk to replace my giant executive desk from a textile mill 60 years ago that really doesn't work for music.

I bought a pair of these a couple of months ago for my little home studio setup, and I love them. They sound great to my ears. Nice accurate reproduction of the midrange.

I was about ready to buy a set of Behringer Truths to replace my dead Alesis Mk 1's. I think these are going to be a big step up from either.

D'ya think these will be further discounted on B Fri (black friday)? I heard that on B Fri Jimmy John's serves poutine. When you get to the front of the line you just have to say "oh Canada" and they'll say "what" and then you say "eh?" (like in a Canada accent) then tell them what size poutine you want and they'll go get it. i'm looking forward to all the secret BFri deals

Finally got em plugged in and cranked up. SWEET. No noise wide open. But I'm gonna have to rethink my plan of direct out of the audio interface and stick a mixer so there's a physical knob to grab.  At this price I'm sorely tempted to grab another pair (without stands) to use for stereo speakers downstairs in the living room. I have a pair of Polk Audio Monitor 40's I was planning to demote to that but they're passive and there's no stereo system down there. Hmmm... decisions.
