Introducing MayFly Effects pedals

Hey guys!  Here's a review of my Open Window pedal done by local blues legend Lucas Haneman:

Lucas really makes the pedal sound great.

I've been kinda busy with commitments, and not had much play time.

This morning I stacked my Heather Brown "Blessed Mother" in front of the Open Window, and turned Drives to 11, with both pedals treble boosted to about 7.5

All that into my preamp gain pegged, and the amp's built-in overdrive the same. The only place in the signal chain pulling punches is I've got a 12at7 in the amp rn, so tube gain was limited to 60x per stage, not the 100x of 12ax7s.

Anyway, it was searing, sounded great. Now I wanna find a place I can also turn up master volume and get some speaker -> guitar feedback working too :).

I also need to add the sketchy Zebra, probably after the ODs.

Hey!  Lucas Haneman did another video, this time featuring a '73 strat.  Around the 10 minute mark he switches on a Mayfly Open Window and a Mayfly Bytown Boost.  I gotta say, the guy sounds great:

This just in;  The first prototype of the delay pedal:

at long last, the delay has been launched!  Here's the final artwork (the writing on the previous version was too hard to see).

This one took a long time.  But it sounds great and I'm proud of it!!  It will be launched on the Mayfly Reverb store later tonight.

Just hooked mine up ... I know it's hard to tell in the photo but the evil twin led is a hot satanic inferno flake crimson.  And the good( they both could be evil, right?) twin, her LED is a cool cerulean taos turquoise.  Just so you don't get confused ... the hair matches the LED colors!  LOL!  Looks great ... now just need time to play.

I'd love to say that the matching LED colours were by design, but it was more or less a happy accident.  :headbang:

BTW, if you look real close, you'll see that the 'good' twin's irises are red, and the 'evil' twin's irises are blue.  Now who is the evil twin??

Hey, Trevor,

I'm contemplating purchasing a reverb pedal since my main amp's onboard reverb is kind of anemic (meaning, it's .  I'm looking in the direction of a EH Holy Grail or TC Hall of Fame.  But if you happen to have a reverb pedal in R&D with a decent chance of making it to market this year, I'd totally wait for that instead.  Anything cookin' in that department?

And if not, can you recommend a box for the home user who's got under $200USD to spend?

When he puts on the yellow Melancon I get sad because the Youtube compression robs the thing of what I am sure are amazing sounds in person.  The maxed-bass quasi-fuzz sounds FUN.

Anyhoo - I am beyond chuffed for you that your pedals are getting traction.

Hey Ian,  I'm always looking for the next thing, and reverb is it!  After compression and envelope filtering. and chorus and flanging... which are all in the works.  Having said that I do plan to have a reverb pedal in the next year, and it might even be about $200 USD!  Stay tuned.
