So I have verified with the home base, you can do a Floyd shelf on a 1.650” nut, and the reason it’s off menu is exactly as you mentioned. I think I’ll be going for it on my next neck.

The biggest thing I can think of with Warmoth is if you see something you like, get it.

My GOM/GOY winner was exactly such a grab - the body came up on the RSS feed, and I had it in my shopping cart in a New York minute. If you aren't aiming for a particular custom item, it's definitely worthwhile to jump on anything you suspect won't pop again soon.
