So guys, it's been a while since I last posted on here. Work has been ridiculous (which is a good problem to have), and I just haven't had time.
Back in August 2019, I received a body that I wound up not being entirely pleased with. The neck pocket was a bit out of spec. However, I broke "the rule", and assembled the body BEFORE I checked how the neck would fit. I was feeling some kind of way about this, and contacted Warmoth. They could have very easily told me to go pound sand, as they do state, 100 ways in 100 places, to check everything BEFORE any assembly begins. But, they were extremely helpful, and gracious. While it was ENTIRELY MY MISTAKE, they still took very good care of me. I now have three Gibson scale conversion Strats that I absolutely adore. I've been a Les Paul player almost exclusively since around 1993. But, I find myself reaching for these Strats more than my Les Pauls quite often.
I know this isn't news to anyone here, but I am floored by the customer service Warmoth provides. It alone validates every dime I have spent with them over the last few years, and then some.
Some less than stellar quality pics attached. Please pay no attention to the workbench in the background. It is currently an embarrassing disaster. If we can ever string together three or four consecutive days without rain here in Virginia, I'll take these outside for some good, hi-def pics.
Thanks to all at Warmoth.
