Has the VIP body changed over the past few years?

I am about to pull the trigger on a new body and am mulling between a Regal or a VIP. When searching for examples of finished VIPs it seems as if there are some slight differences in the body shape, specifically around the upper horn/cut, it appears longer in some pics and shorter in others? Is this just my imagination in combonation with lighting, or has the body seen changes?

The third VIP in your second example is actually a Fender, so it is slightly different. The others seem similar enough.

There have been some changes over the years. Back in the '90s, the VIP was a direct copy of the PRS Custom 24. PRS pitched a bitch, so they changed the design to what's been available for the last 15 years or so. But, I think it's in the process of being changed again just very recently.

They all seem to look like mine.  The Bari is going to make it look different 'cause it's got the longer neck.

While the regular forum search wasn't helpful, Google was. I stumbled on this post in another thread where Cagey displays both variations of the VIP.
