Agreed on dark woods... So would think dark rosewood or ebony fingerboard... What are you planning to the headstock? the wenge showed or veneer?

So looks like I might have secured a neck courtesy of tubby.twins, I'll go into greater details on it should that go through (no sense in getting ahead of where we are now ).  It's certainly going to look good with the body.

As far as headstocks, this one would have a laminate, but normally I don't mind so much.  I can see how either would look nice depending on the project.

I guess now I should start pricing out the rest of my hardware.
