Cagey said:That's a beautiful neck. Even with SS frets and a Graphtec nut, it's still less than $300. Kinda makes me wanna build a Tele. But, I think I've been hopelessly spoiled by Ebony over Pau Ferro.

yeah, pau ferro and ebony is going to be a far cry from sounding anything like a 1 piece rosewood neck. I'm all about warm sounding guitars, so it's right up my alley.
Ebony is so bland, there's so many more woods out there with character, with just as good tonal qualities....Like ziricote, canary, Honduran rosewood, bocote... :dontknow:Cagey said:dNA said:yeah those two are awesome. Meh, that's boooooooooooring.... :doh:dNA said:what have you DONE to my poor baby? ugh. trapeze tailpieces belong on jazzboxes, not wannabes. I want as little stuff on that guitar as possible. It's routed for a strat flat-mount hardtail bridge. So that in gold, gold tuners, frets, and pickup covers, and only 1 volume 1 tone with a standard tele 3-way switch! I have to say I'm also growing fond of the look of P-90's on a thinline. maybe rosewood pup covers?
