This is kinda cool, the dark tele shape on the upper portion is actually an F-hole, if you will...Kinda unique...

Dangerous, I am thinking a Archtop style tail piece with a Archtop TOM
would look really good with that sound hole and give it a real jazz meats tele look.
you may need to angle the neck to get that to work, but it would be sooooooooooooooo kewl and different. real tasty
Yes, most definitely a trapeze tailpiece would be in order, but not an arch top. They make tailpieces for flat tops too. :icon_thumright:

I actually was referring to the style, that F hole so calls out for that classic Jazz look.
I have just ordered my Tele body last weekend, that would have stopped me.
It is a must do I think, If you do not, I may next year.

Because this F-hole is shaped like the guitar it's on, the guitar shaped F-hole should have an F-hole and so on into infinity.
I think you should stop eating the paint off your walls, could be a lead based paint.... :-\

I would love to know that inlay type of  technique that allows two pieces to fit so perfectly together.

I imagine on THAT body it is. but it just reminds me of those guys who seem to do it all with a set of files.

I'll buy band saw's and routers.... but I really can't imagine I'll ever afford a CNC machine!

With files and chisels, probably a lot of patience, skill and weed.... :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin:

This one's got me GASsing.. Frankly, the Z pickups are ugly, and the hipshot logo on the bender is crass, and overall it's not pretty - but I love G&L's build quality, and really dig how those p'ups actually SOUND.
