Not sure about the pickups though...it doesn't let me pick the Musicman pickups. Also not sure about the neck...

Maple or Roasted Maple? Or Ebony? Leaning more towards just Maple, looks nicer...

That's because the body is already routed for J pickups.  If that's the case you're limited with changes.  They will do a P rout over top of the J rout in the bridge, but that's about it.

At the very least, roasted maple.  I won't go back to a finished neck.  Won't do it, nope, nope.
