I personally can't say for sure. Back when I had the vintage tint from Warmoth it was the more Orange-colored varietal. I loved that, myself. The newer Warmoth vintage tint formula seems closer to what's in that picture vs. what I had. DoubleA would be able to tell you more, and maybe Cagey/some of the players who have been here in the last few years I was on hiatus.

I think going vintage tint would be a safe bet for that look, especially if you're going for a tele like The Boss uses. Judging by the headstock alone, I'd wager vintage-tint, but again I can't say for sure. No in-person experience with the newer formula.

Body looks to be a Butterscotch finish. Classic Bruce. Now, it could be that it's a tinted clear, but it looks a lot like your classic Butterscotch Tele.

Sorry, I tend to assume people are asking about the neck when they mention the Vintage Tint. My bad!

I think it's a bit too clear looking to be Butterscotch.

I'm leaning more towards Vintage Tint.
 
Yeah it's not opaque enough to be butterscotch I think, I would also guess vintage tint. Whatever it is I like it :confused4: .
 
I would also guess it to be vintage tint on the body. I like it, myself. But then, I'm a sucker for that and butterscotch blonde.

Look closely - it may just look like a regular solid colour, but it's a "Special Sonic Blue Pearl Finish". Whatever you do, Warmoth, don't make this available in your other solid colours.
 
I really like that sonic blue pearl one. It may be a killer in person. My wife's white Harley had a light pearl blue top coat that was outstanding. I suspect this would be similar.
