GAS Alert!!!!

For me personally, if it's not a maple fretboard, you should go without inlays. Especially with Rosewood/Ebony/Pau Ferro. Maple I like the black dots for that classic look, but beyond that it's no inlays.

More appropriate here than in the LP thread.. but the guitar I was reminiscing about must've been a Charvel Fusion. Something a lot like this one. I do remember now that it too had a maple neck. I vaguely recall it being seafoam but with a subdued crackle finish - like maybe silver crackle instead of the really obvious black crackle. But my memory isn't the greatest.

That's a shred machine rite thar.... :icon_thumright:

Shred? But it's called a Fusion...  I do like the scooped cutaway and the angled neck single tho - wish the dub would offer it.

I dunno about shred. all around guitar? I used to cover BB king with a Jackson neckthrough randy rhodes.  :icon_biggrin:

Sorry but you can't get anymore shred than that, that there was the basis of 95% of the shredder's from the 80's...Same thing as a Jackson Dinky, and Dinky's were the weapon of choice for shredding..... :headbang1:

Sure you can - just drop the neck single and make your choice of bridge pickups for it.

I meant, it's pretty shredderific looking, but I have a thing for taking guitars like, say, a USA Warrior and playing styles that don't fit. It's just plain fun!  :guitarplayer2:

I'd really like to build a Jaguar with Warmoth, put Lollars in it and have Tonar finish it like that. Might do it when I have a job again. I really like the look of a Jaguar in Fiesta Red, but of course it has to be nitro! Serious GAS for one of them, though.

Lots of new finished Strats in the showcase..... Yummie
This 1st one would look great with a Concalo Alves or Canary Neck

That first one (http://www.warmoth.com/Showcase/ShowcaseItem.aspx?i=PS5812&Body=2&Path=Body) is awesome.  "Fried Strat finish"...wonder how they did that?
