Gary Moore has died

Wow. I literally just bought one of his CDs this week because I felt I didn't know enough abut him and his work.

That's really a shame.

no way, he is a major influence of mine

this is really sad :(

I always hoped he would go back to playing his 80s music.. I really loved after the war and wild frontier... :(

It's a said day for guitar indeed.
Few people could make the guitar sing, cry, talk like he did.  He exhibited so much emotion into his playing, even when he was shredding.
Wild Frontier was one of his rocking best before he went to the blues, but his catalog is even more varied than that.

Man, this totally sucks all kinds of ass. Huge fan of his. He will be missed.

never got the chance to see him live

RIP
My favourite guitarist.  It makes me hugely sad that we'll never get to hear another Gary Moore album :(
