Hi everyone.
Thanks for interacting with my post.
I have attached an updated image of the concept which in fact is an illustration of what I had in mind before proceeding with the first image.
The new image addresses forum member Johnny Hardtail's point of the more beneficial design of the Vortex neck compared to the Hombre which allows for more straight contact of the strings from the nut to the tuner shafts thus improving tuning stability and intonation.
Also, as can be seen, instead of a traditional classical guitar bridge, I'm opting for a tune o matic piezo style bridge which will make completion of the project vastily more easier since the prep work such as the angled string holes and TOM bridge holes will already be done by Warmoth during the order procsess, as well as intonating once complete.
I will however proceed with a passive system as I'm sure it will be absoloutly fine because as much as I would like to include a preamp, it is exceptionally hard to find a way around it without resorting to using a side mount system which would be too wide for the side, to ugly and Godin-ish on the front or top and would simply not conform to my personal preference which is to retain the 'beauty spot' look of a simple single volume control. I have built one like this before, albeit in a tele shape, as well as a tele jazz also with a passive system and it was loud enough. (For the record, I'm not a proffesional builder or luthier, just a hobbyist). If I need extra juice, I simply use a preamp pedal, even the likes of a Zoom multi effects pedal will suffice. Ben Woods who does the Nylocaster also uses passive electronics and it sounds brilliant.
As concept, a lot a details, small or big, could change but the updated image is the closest thing too what will transpier.
I will eventually make it in other finishes too and another eletric version albeit with Warhead neck, with a mini humbucker in the middle position for fusion/blues/jazz, which I will call the High Velocity Fusion Warhead, a deadly thermonuclear weapon for new-wave jazz :icon_thumright:. Or I'll simply call it the Fusion Casino. Hint, it'll be finished in dark blue.
PS. Does anyone else have a nightmare of a time posting on this forum because of those verification questions? I succeed on like the 100dth attempt and on some browsers you can't at all.
