Thank you, guys!  I was a little surprised at how matte the anodized tone-guard PG is.  I'm not sure if it clashes with the shiny control plate or just sets up a finish dichotomy that actually works.  What do you think?  I'm toying with the notion of either the shiny black PG or the chrome control plate.  Decisions, decisions.

Cagey, I thank you for the advice on shielded wiring, but this thing is dead quiet.  I do mean dead quiet.  No hum.

Right. You have an active system. They typically don't need shielding.

Ok, guys.  I'm calling it done, with the exception of the neck plate from Doug.  Thanks for everything.  What's the verdict?  Forgive the fingerprints...  It's not a show piece, it's been my main bass since it could make sound.
