Finally got custom canary/jet black ebony neck in; the canary's actually a bit lighter than the pics with some nice red streaking... I screwed up ordering the PW tuners and have a set of 6 lefts I'll have to use on another build (already planned half-ass), so I'll have to wait till next week to finish the build...

I did not expect to like this guitar or finish. Surprise... I think it works for me partly because of the matte black on the RG pups matching the black of the (looks like) ebony board.

That's the "Big Bottom" set, Tallboy in neck and Muy Grande in bridge, the Muy Grande the heaviest HB I've ever held in my hand...

Check out the heftiness of a Duncan Invader....I think it added about 4lbs to my VW....
