FINISHED!!! explorer war power (maple explorer build)

If you've been following me I moved the discussion here because the project has started. Thanks for all you who have commented on my earlier post, if you are new to this discussion here is a recap of the project.

Explorer body cut out with CNC machine (body blank from warmoth)
The finish is going to be a dark dye and the edge will be chamfered.
All other parts are gonna come from an unused guitar.

Pics will soon be up of the program I used for the cnc machine and the machined body

I thought warmoth blanks were too small for explorers and gibby v's and such... did you order an extra large one by phone or you cutting out a mini-me explorer...

Actually I made it larger by adding onto the sides, in the end its only a little bit bigger.

anyways I made a spare so if something went wrong I wouldn't be out on a limb.

Better buy from a good source, it's more expensive but you pay only one, which ends usually cheaper..

Have done great deals with Mr Larry Davis at Gallery Hardwoods and also with Fraser Valley Fine Woods... Mr L. Davis is kinda "the way to go" to exotic woods of some luthiers I know...

Gotoh 6-string  fixed bridge
standard non-locking tuners
1 tone and 1 master volume knob
3 way blade switch
3x3 ibanez headstock
22 fret neck (maybe I'll customize it?)
rosewood fretboard
2 black open-faced humbuckers (probably swap later.)
straplocks
