Finish on a Firebird?

Looking for a nice, classy finish for a firebird (guitar, not bass). Im looking at humbuckers and string-thru tune-o-matic, which both work in chrome. I was thinking Blue Burst with straight white binding, because i figured that would go well with the chrome and possibly a white pickguard. Either that, or Purple Burst with a clean line break to gloss over mahogany. Please tell me what you think of those, and, if possible, id appreciate whatever ideas you have for me. i'll definitely second the lake placid blue, but i might be biased. another great choice is always alpine white. i'm a big fan of white guitars! classy.
